T&W Holidays
Thame & Wheatley Ramblers organise an annual walking holiday every September.
Past trips have been to Bakewell, the Isle of Wight, Church Stretton, Cricket St. Thomas, Holme Lacy, Selworthy on Exmoor, Dovedale in Derbyshire, Hackness on the North York Moors, Brecon, Buxton, Snowdonia and the Heights Hotel in Portland.
In 2026 the group's holiday was based at the Webbington Hotel in Somerset.
As well as short coastal walks, we enjoyed walks from the hotel up Crook Peak and along Wavering Down, walks around Cheddar Gorge and waks taking in Ebbor Gorge and Wells.

Thame & Wheatley group don’t only lead walks, we also have a number of social and other events, including a Christmas party, a summer social and visits to places of interest.
This year's summer social had a Winter Olympics theme with events including the slalom, the luge and the ski jump, though no expertise was required (especially when sampling the desserts!).
