Thame & Wheatley

Tea break on the Isle of Wight
Thame & Wheatley Group covers some 34 parishes within the Vale of Oxford. The area provides a variety of fascinating features. The Thame Valley Way offers a peaceful rural riverside walk, the Oxfordshire Way cuts through a dozen attractive villages and the newly designated Shakespeare's Way also takes in many local parishes.
On the edge of the area the Chiltern Hills And Shotover Country Park afford challenging hill climbs with superb views. Local footpaths also provide access to many historic sites, including Rycote Park and Chapel, the Saxon church of Waterperry House and the grounds of Shotover House.
